VALORANT and League of Legends coming to the Epic Games Store The Epic Games Store reported having 160 million users via PC at the end of 2020. The North Carolina-based company has been offering payouts to developers to bring games to the Epic Games Store for a limited time. Valve’s platform has a strong grip on the PC gaming market, representing 18% of sales in 2017.Įpic Games has been using the resources gained from the massive success of Fortnite to stake a claim in the PC gaming market. All games are available through Riot Games directly, although this gives Epic some more momentum in their race to take on Steam. This is the first time League of Legends and VALORANT have shown up on a broader PC storefront. VALORANT, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra are coming to the Epic Games Store as part of a month-long promotion campaign for Netflix’s new animated League of Legend series “ Arcane.”
